Louise Roman
Louise is a Partner of PacificBridge Capital. Louise has been a leading international capital markets and corporate finance lawyer for more than 25 years. She spent nearly 20 years based in London and Dubai, where her practice focused on advising clients in emerging markets, including across Central Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Just prior to joining PBC, she was COO, with leading responsibility for building funding partnerships, for a start-up aiming to list single-asset commercial real estate. She serves as a Board member for a leading insurance group in Eastern Europe.
Louise received her B.A. in Mathematics and Government & Legal Studies from Bowdoin College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts bars and was qualified as a foreign solicitor in England & Wales and accepted as a legal consultant with an unrestricted membership status by the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
Shannon Aten
Shannon has extensive experience in investor relations and business operations management and manages Administration and Investor Relations at PacificBridge Capital. She has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, Shannon worked at The Blackstone Group’s Private Equity unit as one of the first members of their global investors relations and business development team. Shannon was also the Head of Investor Relations for MBA Financial Services, a boutique asset management firm in Denver. Shannon received her B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Paul Scibetta
Paul is the founder and CEO of PacificBridge Capital and a recognized leader in global finance and investing. He previously held leadership positions with JPMorgan for 15 years in a career that included two postings in Asia, as well as postings in Europe and the United States. During the majority of his career with JPMorgan, he served as CEO of JP Morgan portfolio companies.
Paul served as CEO and Managing Director of The JPMorgan Private Bank in Asia (2007-2011), based in Hong Kong. During this time, he was a member of the Private Bank’s Global Operating Committee and Global Risk Committee, and JPMorgan’s Asia Executive Committee. Prior to this period, Paul served as a member of the JPMorgan Asset Management Global Operating Committee (2002-2006), and as a CEO of businesses within JPMorgan Asset Management, based in New York.
Prior to Paul’s chief executive roles, he served in leadership positions for JPMorgan Asset Management as an attorney, risk officer and Global Chief Fiduciary Officer from 1997-2003. He joined JPMorgan in 1997 in Tokyo where he served as Head of Legal and Compliance for JPMorgan’s Asia Investment Management and Private Banking (IMPB) business (1997-1999). He relocated in 1999 to London, where he held the position Head of Legal and Compliance for JPMorgan’s Europe IMPB business (1999-2001). Prior to joining JPMorgan, Paul served as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York (1992-1995) and Tokyo (1995-1997), and clerked for the Honorable Conrad K. Cyr of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (1991-1992).
Paul holds a B.S. in Economics from James Madison University and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Andrew Economos
Andrew is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of PacificBridge Capital, headquartered in Asia. A 28-year industry veteran, he is an investment & business leader, fusing asset management with fintech/insurtech innovation.
Andrew served as Head of Sovereign & Institutional Strategy for JPMorgan Asset Management in Asia, Head of Strategic Solutions for Capital Group in Asia, and Head of Principal Trading for JPMorgan in Asia. Andrew has founded, sourced and developed emerging investment platforms in the US and Asia.
As a senior fintech executive, Andrew has experience with insurtech, wealth management, healthtech, robo-advisory and vertical social networks for the enterprise. As a senior fund manager he has managed long-only, hedge fund, principal trading, private equity and venture capital. As head of Strategic Solutions he executed goal-based investing platforms for private wealth, insurance, retail and institutional clients. In addition, Andrew developed strategic partnerships for financial services co-creation and distribution.
Andrew received a PhD abd from Penn State University in international business.
